Spa Conditions

Reservations

All therapies and treatments are available at the Hotel Barceló Alba de Layos.  Treatments should be booked in advance.  All treatments must be paid for in advance.  Prices include VAT.

Cancellations

Refunds will be made on cancellations notified within 24 hours of your appointment.  No refunds are made under other circumstances.

Arriving at the Spa

We suggest that you arrive at least 10 min before your appointment to allow time to change and relax before your treatment or Spa session. There are private changing rooms with individual lockers. If you arrive late for your appointment your treatment time will be reduced accordingly to allow the therapist to prepare for their next client.

What to bring

For the Spa circuit bring swimwear. For treatments such massages or medical treatments you should bring swimwear or underwear. We can also provide disposable underwear.

Relaxation

After your treatment we suggest that you allow some extra time to relax and unwind.

Silence and tranquillity

To maintain the tranquil atmosphere of the spa and treatment facilities we request that you turn off your mobiles phones. Please also respect other clients by talking quietly.

Health

Please inform us of any health problems you have that might have an affect on your treatment.  Upon arrival you will be required to fill in a short medical questionnaire and a disclaimer.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant it is not recommended to have treatments with heat or to use the Spa facilities for the first or last trimester of your pregnancy. We do offer some specialist treatments for pregnant women. If you have any doubt or questions we recommend that you consult a medical professional in advance.

Spa products

We sell all of the products we use for the treatments at the Spa reception.

Age restrictions

We do not offer treatment to persons under 16 years old. Children aged 6 - 16 will have access to the spa if supervised by an adult.  Ask in reception about times to access the spa circuit with children.
